Kindergarten

The Kindergarten Enrichment Program offers a joyful, nurturing setting that inspires the imagination. The program is rich in singing, seasonal activities, painting, puppetry, and storytelling. Waldorf teachers believe it is profoundly important that the young child have time to develop their will through play and practical work while in a safe and loving environment.

Kindergarten children in the Homeschool Enrichment Program will experience many of the developmentally-appropriate activities that are typical of a Waldorf kindergarten classroom. In Kindergarten there is a lead teacher and an assistant in the classroom.
Children must be at least 6 years old by June 1 of the current school year to move up to first grade in the Lively Arts program or to attend first grade in MPCS full-time school.
